R.O.C.K. Basketball for Students in Grades 1-4
What is R.O.C.K.? The acronym stands for Recreational Opportunities for Christian Kids. It is designed to be a non-competitive, skills-based basketball program with an emphasis on Christ-centered team play. Children are taught the value of character development and how it relates to living in a Christian community.
Who can participate? We invite boys and girls in grades 1-4 who attend Trinity to participate. Grades 1-2 will be together as teams and Grades 3-4 will be together as teams. *Mature kindergarten students are welcome.
Can I register my child if I attend a church other than Trinity? Absolutely! Friends, family members and neighbors are all welcome to register through Trinity. Volunteer Coaches: R.O.C.K. relies solely on the participation of adults through coaching leadership. Volunteer coaches are assigned to teams, with a ratio of one coach to five children.
For more information, download a R.O.C.K. brochure. Please contact TJ Anderson at 439-7400, ext. 120 or via email with questions or Deb Simcik, R.O.C.K. Program Coordinator at 651-275-0859 or via email.
