Sunday and Wednesday Learning In the Beginning... And God saw that it was good... Children will celebrate God and the world God has created. Each week we will be digging deeper into God’s word hearing the Bible stories from the very beginning! Children will experience the stories from the Bible through games, music, crafts, and dramas. Developing a relationship with God is part of the beginning of a wonderful journey for all children that they won’t want to miss. Register online now!
Bible Explorers “In the beginning...” is exactly where Bible Explorers will begin to explore and dive deeper into the Bible! Bible Explorers will journey into the creation of the world, into the words of the Bible, and into a relationship with God. Become an expert explorer as your learn about the Bible, its great stories, and what a great book it is to read. Friends, games, crafts, music and drama will guide Bible Explorers in the exploration of God and all that God has created – the earth, the animals and you! Come and join the journey. Club 56 Calling all students in grades 5-6! Jump into the excitement with your friends! Discover the fun and challenges of being one of God’s kids at home, school, sports, a friend’s house... actually anywhere! Activities include great topics and discussion, small group time with friends, movies and music, digging into the Bible, creative events, and some junk food, just for fun! 3-D Worship (Dig Down Deep) Created especially for students in grades 3-6 to help dig down deep into worship – during worship! Have fun exploring the meaning of worship, the Bible in worship, worship music, worship during the week and more! Look for 3-D Worship packets on Saturday or Sunday in the Narthex. Packets will include activities to be used during worship and at home, including a weekly “drop-off” piece that will add some fun to your next worship at Trinity! 3-D Worship packets will be available September through May.
Wednesday Pizza Night (in the Gym) Enjoy the ease of Wednesday Pizza Night for children and their families. From 5:30-6:30 p.m., families are invited to enjoy a budget-friendly menu of pizza, salad, cookies, fruit and lemonade. Enjoy the fellowship of other families and children in an evening of faith-learning opportunities.
First Communion Instruction Sundays, May 3 & 10, 2009, 10:30-11:30 a.m. instruction; First Communion, Sun., May 17, 2009 Children of any age are invited to participate in First Communion instruction with parent/guardian discretion. The two-week instruction will journey with families into this marvelous gift of God’s grace, through fun activities and conversations that make this a special first experience. All participants will conclude their experience with a group celebration as they participate in their First Communion. R.O.C.K. (coming this Winter!) (Recreational Opportunities for Christian Kids) Have you been searching for a fun recreational program for your child in grades 1-4 in a church setting? Have you wished there was a place for kids to build skills in sports without the travel and focus on competition? If your answer is yes, you’ll be happy to learn about the R.O.C.K. basketball program. R.O.C.K. is a non-competitive, skills-based basketball program with an emphasis on Christ-centered team play. Children are taught the value of character development and how it relates to living in a Christian community.

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS Come join the exciting music ministry of Trinity’s Children’s Choirs!
Joyful Noise Choir (grades K-2) Trinity’s youngest choir, these beginning singers learn how to use their voices to make beautiful sounds glorifying God. Alleluia Choir (grades 3-6) This choir builds on skills learned in the Joyful Noise Choir. It’s a busy season ahead for the Alleluia Choir, singing with Ascension Episcopal choir in the fall and playing a leading role in the fall musical “The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit.” This choir sings a variety of music from traditional to contemporary and will help to lead worship twice a month. Carillon Ringers (grades 3-6) Ring God’s praises! Carillon Ringers learn to ring choir chimes and handbells in ensemble and with the children’s choirs.
