Summer Stretch Wednesdays, June 11-July 9 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Join us for this special summer program for students that have completed grades 6-9. Eight area churches are participating this year and Trinity is hosting. Each Wednesday we’ll spend the morning doing service projects, have lunch together, and spend the afternoon at places like water parks, beaches, sporting events, and other exciting destinations. It’s going to be a great way to meet people, have fun, and grow in your faith by serving Jesus and the community. Don’t forget to invite your friends too! Cost is $100 before May 4, $125 after May 4. We believe camp is an integral part of the Confirmation experience!
A
retreat away from home provides a place for students to develop deeper
relationships with one another, mentors and most importantly God. Camp
provides a milestone event in student’s lives that often marks a more
vital or deeper commitment to their faith. We are able to cover a
significant portion of curriculum because of the amount of time we have
together. Camp often becomes one of a student’s most treasured memories
from their adolescent years.
DATES Pick
whichever week works best for your family. Both camps are open to 7th
& 8th graders. Camp students will report to the church at 9 a.m.
either July 27 or Aug. 1 for loading and departure and return at 4 p.m.
on either July 31 or Aug. 5.
COST: $275 This
includes transportation, lodging, meals, and all activities except
golf. (Golf is an optional free-time activity that costs $14 a round
with a maximum of three rounds; $42. Bring your own clubs.) You may
also pay up to an additional $8 to be placed into a canteen account for
pop, candy and snacks for the week. Please include this with your final
payment. Scholarships will be available. Scholarship applications are
available in the Youth Center. Camp fees are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
REGISTRATION Space
is limited to 65 students per camp so sign-up early for your preferred
week. A down payment of $100 is due with your registration by March 12.
The balance of $175 is due on or before Wed., May 21.
PARENT MEETING Tue., May 21, 7-8 p.m. This
meeting will include a camp overview, packing list, opportunity to make
final payments and question/answer time. Contact Cindy Jones if you
