| Opportunities to Serve in Senior High MinistriesGod
is moving in tremendous ways in the lives of young people at Trinity.
As a team, we strive to empower adult leaders to demonstrate God’s
transforming love in a variety of ways to the youth of this community.
Your strengths and gifts are incredibly valuable to the youth at
Trinity. We encourage you to first pray about the possibility of being
involved with this ministry. Secondly, reflect and discern if you have
a God-given passion for ministering to youth. Lastly, contact anyone on
the youth staff to ask questions or to simply come to an event to check
things out. We look forward to the possibility of serving the youth
side-by-side with you.

Power Lab (VBS) volunteers needed
August 11-15, 2008
It takes volunteers to touch the lives of the kids during this amazing week of Vacation Bible School. Curriculum and training
will be provided. Volunteers must successfully complete a background
check. If you have questions or would love to be part of the VBS team,
please contact Rebecca at ext. 125 or via email. Prayer TeamPraying for specific needs of students, confirmation small groups, leaders, and God’s will in the ministry. Prayer
is so important in the support of the youth and the ministry happening
at Trinity. Weekly prayer requests of students and the ministry as a
whole would be sent for you to pray for throughout the week. A prayer
team made of students and adults will also be meeting on Sundays at 5
p.m. before the new Senior High Worship Service to pray for the whole
ministry of Trinity. Small Group LeadersWe
always need adult mentors to meet with small groups of students on a
regular basis. Students have a desire for fellowship and conversation
about life and the struggles that they encounter. Adult mentors walk
with students on their faith journey. Training and materials are
provided for all leaders. Contact Cindy Jones if you feel the passion to get to know and love a small group of youth. Arts TeamTrinity
has a wide variety of talented students who desire to learn and create
artwork for gifts and for use at Trinity. Activities could include
painting murals, canvas paintings, photography, pottery, and more. This
group would meet when space and materials are available, most likely
every other week in the evening. If you have passion and knowledge
about a specific art and would like to share that with eager-to-learn
youth, this would be a great way to plug in. The River TeamThe
River is a worship service for youth that takes place on Sunday
evenings at 6 p.m. Adults are needed to be a part of this service in a
variety of ways. Some of these ways include leading different teams,
such as the Welcome Team, Prayer Team, and the set-up crew. Leading
these teams is a commitment of being around Sunday nights each week or
on a rotating basis. No work outside of Sunday night is required, and
it's an awesome way to connect with students personally! Contact TJ if you are interested.Special Event TeamEvents
happen each month that Family Ministry needs adult volunteers to
chaperone. Events might include: carnivals, concert outings, movie
nights, lock-ins, etc. This is an exciting way to see students
energetic and make a solid connection with them. If you are interested
in being on the call list for this team, contact TJ.
